A few nice opening a business images I found:
Open for Business

To create this image, I first took a photo of a glowing neon sign in a restaurant window. The sign simply said "OPEN". However, I focused not on the sign, but on the dark interior of the restaurant. As a result, the four glowing letters became diffuse and merged into one another. I liked the effect, but I wanted to further exhance the abstraction. So in Photoshop I greatly increased the contrast of the image, which gave the zones of color much harder edges.
