Instead of putting too much on the card, I created a custom kind of "business card landing page" that can give the more detailed information at whoisjohnbarton.com.

I like to keep it simple for a couple of reasons. It looks nice. It's not pushy. Being a nerd I barely use the things, so only showing static info on the card my run of 1000 should last me 5 years while still giving people an easy way to figure out who I am and what I'm about.

I've changed companies, changed technology, and even changed countries off the back of that one print run of cards.
