suggested google product or aftermarket application of some maps program. make a mall like map for local businesses.
Here's how it would work. Go to mapping program of your choice. Find you address. Select the street corner you are on. Or find the google street view angle which shows your storefront window.
Given this orientation information, the script will generate a small map of the local area which is properly oriented for a person standing outside your store looking at your window. The map will have a "you are here" button and several other markers for the other businesses in the area the person can visit. This is a way to strengthen a local business community. The same way a mall strengthens itself by providing a directory map.
